Despite the grey and rainy conditions this morning, Parc des Rapides was a great place to see Red-winged Blackbird displays at close range.
In 1535, Jacques Cartier described the park’s rapids as, “un saut d’eau le plus impétueux qu’il soit possible de voir.” Even without the many bird species, the rapids are worth the visit!
