There's Quite A Lot Behind The Lot

Most people who visit Jack Layton Park focus on the waterfront or enjoy the trail that begins with the pedestrian bridge over the Viviry Creek.

This time of year, the area behind the parking lot is bursting with life. From a Gartner Snake sliding through the grass to a Baltimore Oriole serenading from the tallest tree, there is much to see and hear.

This is one of the many warblers that can be seen behind the parking area.
